MLS SS Hamble CP Results - Wed 5 August 2026

We hope you enjoyed the event in Hamble Country Park, comments from the kids on Orange were certainly very positive. Although I think some of the adults found this Country Park a bit of a challenge. I perhaps made the Blue a little too long as it was also quite technical in places. At least the weather was OK with some cloud cover and a nice breeze in places.

Run of the day must go to Rebekah, Hudson & Ester who were talked into running by Chris on parking and never having tried orienteering they stormed round the VSG/Orange and enjoyed every minute of it. Below are some photos of the new bridge that was OOB during the race, but as Allan was collecting in controls at 1400hrs they finished the work on the bridge and i was allowed to be the very first person to cross it.

 Next week we are back to loops in Pirbright Camp with starts 1000-1200 again.
