MLS SS RMAS Results - Wed 02 September 2026

Great to get into RMAS again so thanks to Mike and David, quality courses thanks to Pete and Mark and what a wonderful day, ok rain aside, but it could have been a scorcher and then there would have been a few more DNF's with the heat. 

Unfortunately we had a few runners who took illegal routes over near Old College, which offers them an unfair advantage and they have been DSQ'd. There ared also some great photos available here until 2 Oct

Next week we are at Pyestock and Hartland Woods for a Middle Distance race and we need a full team to support the event. We have just had an increase on fees and that will appear for next weeks event, the flier will be amended later tonight when the full figures are know. Next week we are back to Winter Times ie 1100- -1400 starts and course closing at 1500hrs.  

Note from MLS Sec:   

Over the last 3 years the MLS has been able to maintain the entry fees despite costs generally creeping up, this was largely due to us having the AOA licence for the Land Charges made by DIO which were fixed for the 3 yr duration of the licence.  The AOA Licence has just been renegotiated with DIO for the another 3 years; unfortunately, DIO have imposed a significant increase in Land Charges for civilian runners, which we tried hard to avoid.

The MLS committee has had to review the entry fees taking into account this increases in Land Charges and also the general increase in organising costs, particularly map costs. Pyestock entry fees have been adjusted in the interim to ensure the MLS does not have to cover the anticipated increase in Land Charges. The full review will ensure that entry fees are kept as low as is practicable and fair for all. The reviewed costs will come into effect for the start of the new MLS season later this month.
